We’ve grown up cycling the beautiful and rugged north coast of Ireland, and we firmly believe that Northern Ireland is one of the most incredible places you can take your bike for a spin.

Not just because of the scenery it has to offer, but also because we’ve got some brutally tough climbs! Full of unsung gems that deserve to be explored, endured and enjoyed.

If you’re from Northern Ireland, we’re keen to introduce you to any routes you might have missed up until now. And if you’re from further afield and fancy a cycling holiday somewhere different, we’d love to recommend this part of the world as a friendly, less expensive and potentially even more challenging alternative to your usual cycling hotspots across the continent.

Our names are Steve and David, and we’re two friends who have spent years tackling the climbs on this list. The ten climbs we’ve started with are just that – a start. Most are based around the north coast, as that’s where we know best. But we’re really keen for the list to grow over time, so make sure to let us know of any challenging peaks in your neck of the woods and we’ll pay them a visit soon.
