Coffee stops

There is a unique relationship that cycling culture has with coffee culture. Anyone who has ridden a bike in the UK, Ireland or the rest of Europe will know this. The “coffee stop” is an essential part of heading out on the bike for most social or club cyclists, and there is no reason this should be any different when it comes to taking on the climbs mentioned in our list.

With that in mind, we’ve put a list of our favourite nearby coffee stops for each individual climb (and yes, we’ve personally visited each and every one of them!). By including these, we hope that you’ll be able to turn each climb into a day out involving a stop-off at a warm and welcoming coffee shop where you can have a debrief and a shot of caffeine after all your climbing’s done.
